Hi! The main purposes for this site are:

Some questions you may have

You can click the toggles below to see detailed answers for certain questions.

But why don't I just use Social Media? While I could do this via Social Media apps instead, I realized I kind of don't want to use them anymore. They give me headaches and it's become increasingly less about connecting with people you know and more about other stuff like incessant ads and memes that used to be funny and ragebait. So I wanted to set something like this up where I can just share stuff about my life and not worry about the other things.

That being said, I haven't completely shut myself off from Social Media - just that I use it rather sporadically, and so they aren't the best ways to get in touch with me.
Isn't it not secure to share information on a public site like this, as opposed to a more private social media site? While Social Media apps do have privacy settings to control authorization for content/information, there are risks of privacy breaches on those platforms as well.

Of course, since this is a completely public site with no privacy walls at all, I'll have to be careful about sharing information that is too public.

Overall, this is a new thing I'm trying to do, and as such I'll have to go through some trial and error to figure out how exactly I want to use this site. But I'm optimistic that this will be a better way of keeping in touch than the regular Social Media route.

What I've been up to

So a little about me now: I'm still working in IT, as I have for the past few years since graduating college. I've been into reading for the past few years as well; mostly things on Philosophy (mainly Metaphysics), Religion, Ecology, and Literature, though that's been a little less lately.

Just to give some examples, at the time of writing this, I've been reading:

... and a couple other books. I used to commit to only reading one book at a time, but I recently discovered that I read more, and better, when I'm reading a bunch of books concurrently.

Writing to be read by the public is always difficult, so I don't know how often I'll update this, but I'll try my best.
